Syringomas are benign adnexal neoplasms of eccrine ductal origin. They are most commonly described in females and typically are located on the anterior surfaces of the body. Syringomas rarely are reported on other regions of the body, especially the buttocks. We present the case of a 62-year-old man with multiple asymptomatic syringomas of 40 years' duration on his buttocks as well as the upper anterior thighs, groin, malar cheeks, and periorbital areas. This case is unique in that the duration and distribution of the lesions are more extensive than other cases reported in the literature.

BACKGROUND: Methotrexate (MTX) is essential for treating lymphoblastic leukemia, but high doses (5 g/m2 corporal surface) can cause significant gastrointestinal, renal, hepatic, and hematological toxicity. Body composition, particularly high body fat mass, can function as a third space and may increase toxicity by prolonging the drug's circulation time.
AIM: To analyze the associations between body composition (body fat mass, visceral fat area, and skeletal muscle mass) and the incidence of MTX toxicity in patients with acute lymphoblastic leukemia (ALL) and lymphoblastic lymphoma.

BACKGROUND: On 5 July 2014, a suicide terrorist set a crowded bus on fire in Hangzhou, injuring 33 passengers. Among these, 19 adult victims with the most severe burns were triaged to our center. This is a single-center, descriptive study recording the prehospital response and in-hospital treatment of these patients.
