We present numerical results for three-dimensional (3D) solitons with symmetries of the semi-vortex (SV) and mixed-mode (MM) types, which can be created in spinor Bose-Einstein condensates of Rydberg atoms under the action of the spin-orbit coupling (SOC). By means of systematic numerical computations, we demonstrate that the interplay of SOC and long-range spherically symmetric Rydberg interactions stabilize the 3D solitons, improving their resistance to collapse. We find how the stability range depends on the strengths of the SOC and Rydberg interactions and the soft-core atomic radius.

Liposarcoma is the most common paratesticular scrotal malignancy. Ultrasound is the conventional imaging modality for evaluating scrotal masses. Contrast-enhanced ultrasound (CEUS) can provide complementary information by identifying distinct enhancement patterns. In an experimental study on mini-pigs demonstrated that the use of collagen matrix Mucograft open method leads to the formation of mature connective tissue around the implants, more pronounced after 70 days, and the width of attached mucosa already 45th day (from 4.4 ± 0.3 to 7.7 ± 0.5 mm) is comparable to that of free gingival graft. Malignant peripheral nerve sheath tumors are extremely rare soft tissue sarcomas. Ultrasonography of the thyroid, parathyroid, and soft tissues of the neck should always be performed before parathyroidectomy. The most cost-effective localization strategies seem to be ultrasonography followed by four-dimensional computed tomography (4DCT) or ultrasonography followed by sestamibi ± 4DCT. Lipoma is a common benign tumor of soft tissues in adults. An intrathoracic location, particularly in the parietal pleura, is rare. A 63-year-old woman was admitted because she presented with acute lower abdominal pain and left leg pain without any history of trauma. Lower extremity venous duplex ultrasound demonstrated deep vein thrombosis in the left lower extremity. Computed tomography scan revealed high-density, irregular clumps in the pelvic region and a soft-tissue mass shadow in the right lower abdomen. A 59-year-old man visited our hospital due to right leg edema and right leg pain. Computed tomography revealed that the circumferential enhancement of bilateral external iliac arteries by soft tissue that had similar density as the adjacent psoas muscle and that the right external iliac vein that was constricted by those tissues. The patient was diagnosed as retroperitoneal fibrosis. He underwent stent implantation to the right external iliac vein stenosis and steroid therapy. His right leg edema and pain was immediately improved after the stent implantation and he achieved remission.

Here, we report a case of matrix stone in a 32-year-old man with diabetes, gout, and chronic renal failure. The patient complained of pain in the left flank. He had undergone an operation for bilateral vesicoureteral reflex at the age of 17 and matrix stone discharge was repeated. Computed tomography revealed a soft tissue mass in the right hydroureter. Percutaneous ureteral lithotripsy was performed successfully. Analysis of the stone components revealed the stone to be composed entirely of protein. Radiological imaging of matrix stones may be difficult to separate from urothelial cancers.
