PURPOSE: Our goal was to determine if there are any T2-weighted MR signal characteristics of Toxoplasma encephalitis that might be useful in diagnosis and/or in gauging the effectiveness of medical therapy.

Cardiovascular prognosis in patients under normal stress myocardial perfusion images (MPI) is generally excellent. However, this is not true for patients with chronic kidney disease (CKD) treated by hemodialysis. This study evaluated prognostic factors of adverse cardiovascular events in hemodialysis patients in whom stress MPI was performed. The authors followed up the change in SPECT using 201Tl chloride (Tl-SPECT) according to the course of treatment of intracranial gliomas and analyzed the difference in Tl-SPECT between the stable and progressive groups.
