Pristinamycin IA is a cyclo-peptidic macrolactone antibiotic belonging to the streptogramin family. In the present work, the interaction of pristinamycin IA with the multidrug transporter P-glycoprotein was investigated in the differentiated human intestinal epithelial cell line Caco-2.
