INTRODUCTION: We hypothesized that Bedside screening tests (BSTs) would identify dysphagia in geriatric trauma patients without overt swallowing difficulties.
METHODS: Trauma patients ≥65 y were eligible for enrollment. Patients with known risk factors for dysphagia were excluded.
