Nurse-Led Nutritional Screening and Early Identification of Malnutrition Among Hospitalized Older Adults: A Scoping Review.

Background/Objectives: Malnutrition is common in hospitalized older adults and is linked to functional decline, longer stay, readmission, and mortality. Nurses usually screen at admission, but evidence on nurse-led screening is scattered. This review mapped instruments, measurement properties, recognition and referral outcomes, and implementation barriers. Methods: A rapid scoping review followed the Joanna Briggs Institute methodology, PRISMA-ScR reporting, and the Population-Concept-Context framework. PubMed, Scopus, and Web of Science Core Collection were searched in June 2026 for studies p

Between the hype and harm: does artificial intelligence in health offer solace or further exclusion for marginalised populations in Sub-Saharan Africa? A scoping review.

Artificial intelligence (AI) is increasingly being integrated into healthcare systems and has the potential to improve health outcomes. In Sub-Saharan Africa (SSA), however, concerns remain that AI may either reduce or exacerbate existing health inequities depending on how it is developed, governed, and implemented. This scoping review aimed to map and synthesise the existing evidence on the implications of AI for health equity among marginalised populations in Sub-Saharan Africa. PubMed, Web of Science, Scopus, and selected grey literature sources were searched between February and March 2026

Genomic Medicine Sweden: Advancing precision medicine at the national level.

High-throughput sequencing has transformed clinical diagnostics of rare diseases (RD), cancer and infectious diseases by enabling the identification of disease-causing genetic alterations and facilitating individualised treatment and care. In response to these advances, Genomic Medicine Sweden (GMS) was established in 2017 as a national collaborative effort to accelerate implementation of genomics-based precision medicine within Sweden's regionally organized, publicly funded healthcare system. GMS brings together the seven university healthcare regions and their associated medical faculties, i

Innovative socio-sanitary rehabilitation models in central nervous system disorders: a systematic review.

INTRODUCTION: Because neurological disorders profoundly affect patients' lives, care models are increasingly oriented toward an integrated clinical and socio-sanitary approach. This being said, the actual context of this integration and the literature itself presents notable gaps and inconsistencies. The aim of this study was to review the existing literature to provide an overview of the current implementation of these services, while identifying gaps and potential areas for improvement. METHODOLOGY: We conducted a systematic review following the PRISMA guidelines including only peer-reviewe
