RATIONALE: Mirizzi syndrome (MS) is an uncommon condition characterized by common hepatic duct (CHD) compression by an impacted gallbladder or cystic duct stones or adjacent inflammation. The study was conducted with 12 participants (7 men and 5 women, average age 63.5) at a university hospital, Sweden. Informed consent was obtained from all participants.
