BACKGROUND AND PURPOSE: Case reports demonstrate that coiling of a sigmoid sinus diverticulum can treat pulsatile tinnitus. We hypothesized that MR imaging 4D flow and computational fluid dynamics would reveal distinct blood flow patterns in the venous outflow tract in these patients.

Meckel's diverticulum is the most common anomalous development of the gastrointestinal system that results from an incomplete vitelline canal. Complicated Meckel's diverticulum represents a common etiology of acute abdomen in children. However, this condition is less frequent in adults. We reviewed the records of adult patients who underwent the surgical removal of complicated Meckel's diverticulum between 2001 and 2017 at 2 tertiary French medical centers. Meckel's Diverticulum is one of the most common congenital anomalies of the gastrointestinal tract. However, its presentation as a complicated Giant Meckel's Diverticulum in an adult is rare. We present a case of a perforated Giant Meckel's mimicking ischemia of the right colon. This case report highlights the importance of having a high index of suspicion for this rare diagnosis.

Giant colonic diverticulum (GCD), defined as a diverticulum larger than 4 cm, is a rare entity that is generally a manifestation of colonic diverticular disease. Because of its rarity and its variable and non-specific presentation, the diagnosis of GCD depends mainly on imaging findings. Diverticular disease of the colon is a common disease, and its incidence is increasing gradually. A giant colonic diverticulum (GCD) is a rare entity and is defined as a diverticulum greater than 4 cm in size. It mainly arises from the sigmoid colon, and possible etiology is a ball-valve mechanism permitting progressive enlargement. OBJECTIVE: To describe the use collagen xenograft as adjuvant therapy in the surgical treatment of female urethral diverticulum (FUD) and to perform a bibliographic review.
METHODS: We performed a surgical approach to remove the diverticulum and repair the remaining dead space with a porcine collagen mesh to avoid fistulas. Monitoring is done by MRI.
RESULTS: After two years of follow up the patient improved considerably, disappearing the previous symptoms. Follow-up MRI showed no abnormality: There was no inflammatory reaction or encapsulation of any kind.
