We present a case of a traumatic skull base internal carotid artery (ICA) pseudoaneurysm treated with endovascular flow diversion stenting. OBJECTIVE: to verify the occurrence and the causes of hospital readmissions within a year after discharge from hospitalizations due to traffic accidents.
METHODS: victims of multiple traumas due to traffic accidents were included, who were admitted to an Intensive Care Unit. Sociodemographic data, accident circumstances, body regions affected and cause of readmission were collected from the patient histories.

BACKGROUND: Prognosis of traumatic osteonecrosis of femoral head in children is poor for either conservative treatment or surgical intervention. Intravenous bisphosphonate is an expecting medication to reduce femoral head resorption and to prevent femoral head collapse after traumatic osteonecrosis. Wound botulism is exceedingly rare and occurs almost exclusively among injection drug users. In 2008 there was a case of wound botulism in a noninjecting drug user reported to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC). Brachial plexus avulsion injury is one of the major complications after traffic, especially motorcycle accidents and machine injuries. Intractable pain and paralysis of the affected limbs are the major neurological deficits. Eleven patients with intra-articular fractures of the trapezium were evaluated after surgical treatment with a mean follow-up time of 47 months (range, 25-80 mo).
