AIMS: The history of phallus construction parallels the advances made in plastic and reconstructive surgery whereby the era of microsurgery revolutionized numerous techniques. In 1993, we reported our early experience in phalloplasty. While the originally presented technique was a modification of the original design reported by Chang and Hwang, we now present further modifications of the past 30 years.
METHODS: Through critical review of our technical modifications, as well as others', we present a comprehensive review of elements of the radial forearm free flap phallus construction.

Orbital reconstruction is one of the most challenging tasks for surgeons who treat craniofacial trauma. Suboptimal outcomes carry a high level of morbidity, with functional, emotional, and aesthetic implications. However, advances in reconstruction techniques, including the use of orbital endoscopy, computer-guided navigation, and mirror image overlay techniques, have been shown to provide significant improvements in outcomes. A case is presented of a 16-year-old girl with an aneurysmal bone cyst (ABC) of the mandibular condyle of the temporomandibular joint (TMJ). This lesion rarely involves the mandibular condyle, and involvement of condylar head is even rarer. To our knowledge, only 12 cases have been reported in the literature so far. This is the first case of ABC of the mandibular condyle with 3D planning of costochondral graft reconstruction described in the literature.
