A 47-year-old man with acquired hypogonadism of at least 15 years' duration was successfully treated with chorionic gonadotropin. Endocrine studies performed before and two months after discontinuation of gonadotropin therapy showed a decrease in serum testosterone level without secondary rise in serum gonadotropins. Testing for the release of other pituitary hormones, TSH, ACTH, HGH and prolactin, showed normal results. Laparoscopic injection has become an important tool in tubal pregnancy. Intratubal injection of 5 mg of prostaglandin F2 alpha (PG F2 alpha) was successful at a serum human chorionic gonadotropin (hCG) level of more than 2500 mlU/ml. Seventeen unruptured tubal gestations were managed on an outpatient basis using local methotrexate (MTX) injection. A single 50-mg dose of MTX was injected into the gestational sac under transvaginal sonographic control. Follow-up included serial assays of the beta-subunit of human chorionic gonadotropin (beta-hCG), clinical and sonographic evaluation. Resolution was obtained in 13 out of 17 patients. We report an unusual case of invasive mole metastasized to the urinary bladder. The patient presented with hematuria one month after evacuation of a molar pregnancy. The serum chorionic gonadotropin levels regressed spontaneously following transurethral cystoscopic resection of the tumour. Metastasis of an invasive mole to the urinary bladder has not been previously reported.

Ban is an endangered miniature pig breed in Vietnam. This study aimed to set up an in vitro embryo production (IVP) system for this breed. MATERIALS AND METHODS: Maternal serum concentrations of alpha-fetoprotein, human chorionic gonadotropin, unconjugated estriol, and inhibin A were measured in 21,481 pregnant women from 15 to 20 weeks of gestation.
