Strengthening School Safety Through Governmental Research-Practice Partnerships: the Arizona School Safety Program.

Government research-practice partnerships (GRPPs) can bridge the gap between empirical research and policy implementation. However, it remains unclear precisely how state-level governmental agencies navigate evidence-based policymaking. The ongoing collaboration between the Arizona Department of Education and the research team at Arizona State University began as a need for an annual evaluation of the School Safety Program, which aims to improve school safety by providing funding and training to school resource officers and school mental health professionals throughout the state. Interprofessional Collaboration Between Certified Nurse-Midwives/Certified Midwives and Obstetrician-Gynecologist Physicians: A State of the Science Review.

Interprofessional collaboration (IPC) occurs when autonomous professionals work together to achieve shared system-level or patient-centered goals and is a promising strategy to improve perinatal care. Prior research suggests that when midwives and physicians collaborate, there is increased access to perinatal services, improved care outcomes, and more efficient use of limited health care resources. However, it is not always clear how IPC is defined, operationalized, demonstrated, or hindered. This state of the science review examines how IPC between certified nurse-midwives or certified midwiv

Healthcare worker's views and experiences of factors impacting confidence to provide perinatal bereavement support: a qualitative study in Malawi and Zimbabwe.

BACKGROUND: Worldwide, around 1.9 million babies are stillborn, and 2.5 million newborns die soon after birth annually, the overwhelming majority occur in low- and middle-income countries (LMICs). Perinatal death has devastating impacts for families and communities, but not all parents receive adequate respectful bereavement support. Healthcare workers in LMICs often report that bereavement support is challenging, but few studies have explored factors that impact their confidence to deliver optimal care. OBJECTIVE: To explore healthcare worker's views and experiences of factors impacting thei

[The relationship between psychopathological symptoms and therapeutic change in relation to personality organization in a psychotherapeutic inpatient setting].

BACKGROUND: In the assessment of personality disorders, the growing popularity of the dimensional approach (DSM-5 AMPD, ICD-11) has led to an increased emphasis on the role of psychodynamically based structural diagnosis. The key question is how the level of deeper personality organization (STIPO-R) relates to surface complaints (MMPI-2) and whether it can predict therapeutic outcome independently of symptom severity. OBJECTIVE: The aim of our research is to explore the relationship between the level of personality organization and psychopathological symptoms, and to examine whether the level

Humanizing care in the ICU: how system pressures shape interacting patterns of hurry, blur, burden, and cruelty.

BACKGROUND: Intensive care units are high-acuity environments characterized by time pressure, medical complexity, and organizational demands. These conditions may influence clinicians' ability to provide patient-centered care and contribute to forms of care perceived as fragmented or dehumanizing. OBJECTIVE: To examine how ICU clinicians describe and make sense of the pressures shaping everyday critical care practice, and how these pressures give rise to interacting patterns of care, including those described as hurry, blur, burden, and cruelty. METHODS: We conducted a qualitative study usin
