BACKGROUND: Undifferentiated embryonal sarcoma of the liver (UESL) represents less than 5% of all malignant hepatic tumors in childhood. It is considered an aggressive neoplasm with an unfavorable prognosis. The aim of this paper is to present a single center experience in the treatment of children with UESL.

INTRODUCTION: Urachal cancer (UrC) is a rare, non-urothelial malignancy. Its natural history and management are poorly understood. Although localized to the bladder dome, the most common histological subtype of UrC is adenocarcinoma. UrC develops from an embryonic remnant, and is frequently diagnosed in advanced stage with poor prognosis. The treatment is not standardized, and based only on case reports and small series. This large retrospective multicentric study was conducted by the French Genito-Urinary Tumor Group to gain a better understanding of UrC.

The records of 23 patients (22 male and 1 female, median age 28 years) with extragonadal germ cell tumors (EGCT) treated between 1974 and 1993 were reviewed retrospectively to investigate long-term survival and prognostic factors. BACKGROUND: Embryonic stem cell-related gene (ESRG; also known as HESRG) is a long non-coding RNA (lncRNA). It is involved in the regulation of human pluripotent stem cells (hPSCs) self-renewal. Background: Exosomes or small extracellular vesicles secreted from cells are nanovesicles with a diameter of 40-150 nm, which play a number of roles in both physiologic and pathologic processes. In Graves' disease (GD), autoantibodies bind to the thyrotropin receptor (TSHR) on the surface of thyroid follicular epithelial cells and stimulate thyroid growth and thyroid hormone synthesis and secretion via cyclic adenosine monophosphate (cAMP) production.
