I report the case of a 15-year-old white girl with an asymptomatic scapholunotriquetral fusion associated with a capitometacarpal coalition in the right wrist. She had additional anomalies of the fifth ray including shortening and ulnar deviation of the fifth metacarpal, brachydactyly of the little finger, fusion of the fourth and fifth metacarpals and absence of the ulnar styloid.

A prospective survey of radiological bone and joint changes was undertaken in 42 patients with primary biliary cirrhosis (PBC) and 23 patients with alcoholic or cyptogenic cirrhosis who formed a control population. Breast cancer is considered to often involve bone metastasis. Early detection and treatment of bone metastasis are essential in improving the prognosis of this disease. In 47 patients with bone metastasis confirmed with bone scintigraphy, we examined the appearance time of bone metastasis; bone metastasis was frequently observed with the progress of stage, but no association with the appearance time was found.
