Lipogranulomas developing secondarily in the genitourinary system have been reported rather frequently, but primary lipogranulomas without any past history of etiologically related conditions are rare. We report on 2 cases recently encountered in which tumors were diagnosed as sclerosing lipogranuloma on histopathologic examination.

Five cases of granulomatous disease of the male genitalia are presented. Of these, 3 cases involved foreign-body reactions in which some form of hydrocarbon was the causative agent. In the other 2 cases, idiopathic granulomatous processes were found, and this condition may be secondary to endogenous lipoid degenerative processes.

Appearance of the male genitalia is linked with self-esteem and sexual identity. Aesthetic surgery of the male genitalia serves to correct perceived deficiencies as well as physical deformities, which may cause psychological distress. Attention to patient motivation for surgery and to surgical technique is key to achieving optimal results. In this review, the authors describe aesthetic surgical techniques for treatment of penile and scrotal deficiencies. They also discuss techniques for revision in patients with previous surgery.

Four hundred and sixty-seven male patients with leprosy were screened for genital involvement. Genital lesions were observed in 6.6% of all male cases of leprosy. They were seen most frequently in lepromatous leprosy (25.8%), followed by borderline lepromatous (13.3%) and borderline tuberculoid (1.4%) leprosy.

PURPOSE: Vascular tumors and malformations of the male genitalia can affect urinary, sexual, reproductive, and emotional function.
METHODS: Male patients with a genital lesion evaluated or treated at our center from 1995 to 2010 were reviewed to analyze presentation, diagnosis, treatment modalities, and outcome.

The extremely rare occurrence of genital tuberculosis affecting the penis, seminal vesicles, epididymides, vas deferens and Cowper's gland is described. Diagnosis was made by demonstration of fragmented acid fast bacilli in the discharge, and caseating epithelioid cell granulomata with Langhan's giant cells detected on histopathology. Response to antitubercular drugs was prompt.

Congenital malformation, infection, lymphatic obstruction, trauma and carcinoma all have common denominator, the loss of tissue. This loss necessitates the surgeon's use of various techniques in reconstructing the male external genitalia. INTRODUCTION AND HYPOTHESIS: Australian Medicare data show that the rates of cosmetic labiaplasty have tripled over the last decade; however, there is little understanding about the social factors that contribute to the popularity of female genital cosmetic surgeries (FGCS).
