A bibliometric analysis of the quantitative schema therapy literature.

BACKGROUND: The evidence base for schema therapy has evolved significantly since it was first developed by Jeffrey Young in the 1990s. The aim of this bibliometric analysis was to summarize the trends and characteristics of the quantitative literature on schema therapy. METHOD: PsycINFO, PubMed and CINAHL Complete databases were last searched on 1 June 2023 following the Preferred Reporting Items for Systematic Reviews and Meta-Analyses 2020 statement to identify peer-reviewed journal articles written in English that reported on original quantitative research on schema therapy or schema thera

A bibliometric analysis of interstitial cells of Cajal research.

OBJECTIVE: The significance of interstitial cells of Cajal (ICC) in the gastrointestinal tract has garnered increasing attention. In recent years, approximately 80 articles on ICC have been published annually in various journals. However, no bibliometric study has specifically focused on the literature related to ICC. Therefore, we conducted a comprehensive bibliometric analysis of ICC to reveal dynamic scientific developments, assisting researchers in exploring hotspots and emerging trends while gaining a global perspective. METHODS: We conducted a literature search in the Web of Science Cor

Bibliometric and visualized analysis of resveratrol in anticancer investigations.

A growing number of publications have shown that resveratrol has anticancer effects and has become a hotspot in cancer research. The purpose of this study is to analyze the academic results and research trends in resveratrol within the field of anticancer and to predict the future trends in this field. We conducted a literature search for resveratrol in anticancer research from 2003 to 2022 using the Science Citation Index Expanded of the Web of Science Core Collection. The visualization software was used to perform the bibliometric analysis. A total of 1463 publications from 2003 to 2022 were

Trends of mitochondrial changes in AD: a bibliometric study.

BACKGROUND: Alzheimer's disease (AD) is a neurodegenerative disease characterized by progressive progress and memory loss, which eventually develops into dementia. It can cause personality disorders and decreased quality of life of patients. Currently, AD patients account for 60-70% of global dementia patients and the incidence rate of AD is increasing annually. AD not only causes pain to patients but also brings a heavy burden to the entire family. Studies have found that there is a connection between mitochondrial dysfunction and other biochemical changes in AD like classical neuropathologic

Research trends in multimodal metaphor: a bibliometric analysis.

The concept of multimodal metaphor has generated a growing body of literature over the past decades. However, a systemic review of the domain seems to be lacking in relevant literature. This study, therefore, is an attempt to conduct a bibliometric analysis of the field of multimodal metaphor during 1977-2022, with a focus on 397 relevant publications retrieved from the Web of Science Core Collection (WoSCC) with the visualization tool VOSviewer. Some major quantitative findings are: (i) the number of publications in multimodal research began to surge in 2010 upon the seminal work of Forcevill

Intellectual disability and COVID-19: A bibliometric review.

BACKGROUND: During the COVID-19 pandemic, the vulnerabilities of certain groups of people have been highlighted, such as people with intellectual disability (ID). Although related research on ID has developed rapidly during the COVID-19 pandemic, the quantitative analysis of those research results has not been systematically performed through bibliometric analysis. Bibliometric analysis is a useful and rigorous method to explore large volumes of research data, and it allows researchers to extract quantitative information on distribution by author, time, country, and journal. CDK4/6 inhibitor resistance: A bibliometric analysis.

BACKGROUND: Cyclin-dependent kinases (CDKs) 4/6 inhibitors are a type of cell cycle regulation that prevents cell proliferation by blocking retinoblastoma protein (Rb) phosphorylation in the G1 to S phase transition. CDK 4/6 inhibitors are currently used mainly in patients with hormone receptor-positive/human epidermal growth factor receptor 2 (HER2) negative breast cancer in combination with endocrine therapy. However, primary or acquired resistance to drugs severely affect drug efficacy. Our study aims at summarizing and visualizing the current research direction and development trend of CDK

Antibiotic resistant bacteria: A bibliometric review of literature.

Antibiotic-resistant bacteria (ARB) are a serious threat to the health of people and the ecological environment. With this problem becoming more and more serious, more countries made research on the ARB, and the research number has been sharply increased particularly over the past decade. Therefore, it is quite necessary to globally retrace relevant researches on the ARB published from 2010 to 2020. This will help researchers to understand the current research situation, research trends and research hotspots in this field. This paper uses bibliometrics to examine publications in the field of A
