A 41-year-old female was admitted to our hospital for treatment of uterus carcinoma. Abdominal ultrasound showed gallbladder stones. Although magnetic resonance cholangiopancreatography revealed the right intrahepatic bile ducts, left hepatic duct and the common bile duct, the confluence of the right and left hepatic ducts was not visualized. At surgery, intra-operative cholangiography showed a biliary anomaly of the right hepatic duct entering the cystic duct. Dysplasia (biliary intraepithelial neoplasia-BilIN) at the cystic duct surgical margin is uncommon. However, no clear guidelines exist regarding optimal management. BACKGROUND: Cystic renal cell carcinoma (CRCC) and cystic collecting duct carcinoma (CCDC) share similar oncogeni and some imaging findings. The aim of this study was to characterize the clinical and CT imagings features of CRCC and CCDC.

Adenoid cystic carcinoma (ACC) rarely occurs in the nasolacrimal duct (NLD), and when it does, it has nonspecific manifestations. To the best of our knowledge, one case of ACC in the NLD has been reported in the literature. Herein, we report a second case of ACC in the left NLD, concerning a man in his late 60s. Neuroendocrine tumors (NETs), also known as carcinoid tumors of the extrahepatic biliary tree, are extremely rare malignancies and account for 0.2% to 2% of all carcinoids of the gastrointestinal tract. Carcinoma of the cystic duct remnant is extremely rare, and only five cases have been reported previously in the English literature. We present another case of carcinoma of the cystic duct remnant and review the literature. A 62-yr-old woman was diagnosed as having hilar cholangiocarcinoma and transverse colon cancer. The authors describe a method of complex examination of patients with diseases of the external biliary tract with the aim of diagnosing cystic duct blocks. Intravenous cholangiography using billignost and albumin in 2:1 ratio proved highly effective. Of essential help in the diagnosis of cystic duct block was dynamic ultrasonic examination.
