IMPORTANCE: Standardized diagnostic interviews (SDIs) are structured assessments based on established criteria to improve the consistency and reliability of diagnoses. The pooled test-retest reliability of SDIs for adult psychiatric disorders is unknown.
OBJECTIVES: To estimate the test-retest reliability of SDIs used to classify common adult psychiatric disorders, examine variations in test-retest reliability between disorders, and assess prespecified factors associated with between-study heterogeneity.

Rates of bipolar disorder in any sample will depend on the sample studied, the interview used, with whom, how the information is integrated, the criteria applied, and the conceptualisation of a manic episode and its symptoms. We propose that ruminative thinking, the tendency to dwell on the same thought or theme, is useful for distinguishing melancholic from nonmelancholic major depression. We demonstrate that the symptom can be rated reliably and that interview ratings are concordant with ward observation of the symptom. A protocol to evaluate the psychopathology of candidates for orthotopic (whole organ) liver transplantation (OLTX) is presented. Patients being considered for OLTX at the VA Pittsburgh Healthcare System were routinely referred for psychological evaluation consisting of a clinical interview and battery of standardized tests. PURPOSE: Orthorexia is a proposed disorder that involves a pathological obsession with healthy eating. The condition has received much attention in popular media in recent years, but more empirical research is needed. Currently, orthorexia is an emerging construct with multiple proposed versions of diagnostic criteria, and there is confusion regarding the exact symptoms and pathology. Appropriate screening tools are required to accurately detect complex post traumatic stress disorder (CPTSD). This systematic review aimed to assess and compare measurement tools. A literature search using key words 'complex post traumatic stress disorder', 'PTSD', and 'assessment' was undertaken on Embase and PsychINFO during February 2022 by two reviewers. Inclusion criteria included full text papers between 2002-2022 which evaluated CPTSD using assessment tools. Exclusion criteria included reviews, editorials, meta-analyses, or conference abstracts. Twenty-two papers met selection criteria.

A literature review of reported cases of intractable sneezing reveals that intractable sneezing typically occurs in children or adolescents and is a manifestation of conversion disorder. Analysis of these cases demonstrates a number of features that are helpful in differentiating psychogenic from organic sneezing. Also discussed are aspects of patient management once a diagnosis of conversion disorder is established.
