Three successfully managed cases of Fournier's gangrene, all with diabetes, are reported. A simple bacteriological classification is offered and the importance of diabetes mellitus as a predisposing factor is stressed.

Hidradenitis suppurativa is an infrequent inflammatory process that begins as an infection in the apocrine sweat glands. From an initial focus, the infection spreads to involve other tissues of the skin and adjacent structures. When inadequately treated or neglected, the disease becomes chronic with suppuration, sinus formation, invasion of adjacent organs, and occasional malignant degeneration. OBJECTIVE: Aggressive angiomyxoma is an uncommon mesenchymal neoplasm characterized by a high recurrence rate, usually observed in the lower genital tract of women during their reproductive age.
STUDY DESIGN: Seventeen cases of aggressive angiomyxoma confirmed by pathology from January 2007 to December 2021 in Beijing Chao-yang Hospital were included. We collected clinical data and summarized the clinical and immunohistochemical features.

Mesenchymal neoplasms of the bladder and male genital tract are uncommonly encountered in routine diagnostic practice and present diagnostic challenges. Here, I systematically survey mesenchymal tumors at each body site, including the spermatic cord, scrotum, and perineum. I provide a detailed overview of tumor types that specifically or most commonly occur in the bladder and male genital tract, including pseudosarcomatous myofibroblastic neoplasm of the bladder, proliferative funiculitis, paratesticular sclerosing rhabdomyoma, penile myointimoma, and so-called prostatic stromal tumors.

We present a case of an unusual presentation of acute promyelocytic leukaemia (APML), which presented with Fournier gangrene (FG). A 38-year-old man presented with malaise, groin swelling, anal bleeding, fever and was found to have FG. Initial workup revealed pancytopaenia, borderline low fibrinogen, prolonged international normalized ratio (INR), which raised the suspicion for leukaemia. INTRODUCTION: During vaginal delivery, the risk of obstetric anal sphincter injuries (OASIS) is well-known. Despite sufficient repair, 30-50% of women will experience anal incontinence. Recent studies from Norway have shown a reduction in the incidence of OASIS when the perineum is supported manually. In Denmark, the frequency of OASIS is the highest in Scandinavia and it is increasing. The aim of this study was to reduce the incidence of OASIS through an interventional programme.

We present a case of a 58-year-old man hospitalized because of gangrene of the penis and scrotum, after radiochemotherapy for rectal cancer. At the time of the admission the patient presented with extensive gangrene with necrosis affecting the scrotum and the penis. During the first day of hospitalization the patient was operated. Due to the progress of the disease he had to be operated again. The status of the patient, which initially was very bad, was gradually improving. He was discharged from the hospital after 59 days in a good general state with good wound healing.

Hemangiomas are benign lesions that occur in any part of the body. Genital hemangioma involving the entire penis and scrotum are extremely rare. More rarely they can extend in to the pelvis making preoperative imaging imperative and decisive in treatment. Very few cases have been reported in the medical literature. Hereby, a rare cavernous hemangioma that involves the entire penis, scrotum and extends into perineum and rectum in an 18-year-old male is presented with review of literature.
