OBJECTIVES: Diabetic foot ulcer (DFU), a serious complication of diabetes, is associated with increased morbidity and mortality and presents a substantial socioeconomic burden. However, DFU quality of care has been insufficiently studied. The degree rehabilitation obtained by cataract surgery was evaluated by visual acuity and by Visual Functioning Index, which measures the patients' ability of performance of every-day tasks that are dependent on vision.
