INTRODUCTION: Although nerve decompression surgery has proven to be effective in reducing symptoms in patients with head and neck neuralgia and headache disorders, it is currently not part of the treatment algorithms for headache disorders. Therefore, patients wait an average of 20 years from the onset of symptoms to surgery, resulting in high conservative treatment costs ($989,275.65 per patient) and patient morbidity. INTRODUCTION: Treatment delays are significantly associated with increased mortality risk among adult cancer patients; however, factors associated with these delays have not been robustly evaluated. This review and meta-analysis will evaluate factors associated with treatment delays among patients with five common cancers.
METHODS AND ANALYSIS: Scientific databases including Ovid MEDLINE, Elsevier Embase, EBSCOhost CINAHL Plus Full Text, Elsevier Scopus and ProQuest Dissertations and Theses Global will be searched to identify relevant articles published between January 2000 and October 2021.

OBJECTIVE: We examined the influence of age at onset of illness and the delay in time to first treatment on morbidity in adulthood.
METHOD: 529 adult outpatients with a mean age of 42 years, who entered our research network from 1996 through 2001 and who were diagnosed with bipolar disorder according to DSM-IV criteria, were rated prospectively on a daily basis with the National Institute of Mental Health-Life Chart Method during naturalistic treatment for up to 4 years.
RESULTS: Fifty percent of patients had illness onset in childhood (<13 years of age) or adolescence (13-18 years of age).

Undescended testicle is the term applied to a group of congenital conditions which by their nature should be detected at birth.
