Adenocarcinoma of the vermiform appendix is a rare disease that constitutes less than 0.5% of all gastrointestinal malignancies. A patient was admitted with abdominal discomfort and urinary frequency but no symptoms suggestive of enterovesical fistula, e.g. pneumaturia or urinary tract infection. She was diagnosed with adenocarcinoma of the appendix with a fistula to the urinary bladder.

OBJECTIVE: To study the diagnosis and treatment of pheochromocytoma in urinary bladder.
METHODS: Six cases of bladder pheochromocytoma were studied. Four cases showed hypertension, 3 of which were paroxysmal hypertension during urination. Catecholamine (CA) was increased in a case, and vanillymandelic acid (VMA) was increased in 2 cases. Bladder submucosal mass was detected by B-ultrasound in 5 cases (5/5), computerized tomography (CT) in 3 cases (3/3), cystoscopy in 5 cases (5/6). Orthotopic cystoplasty for various diseases of the urinary bladder was made in 58 females aged 22 to 78 years (mean age 52.5 +/- 5.8 years) in 1996-2005. Surgery was indicated in muscular-invasive cancer of the bladder (n = 35, 60.3%), microcystis (n = 21, 36.3%), bladder atonia (n = 1, 1.7%), vesicovaginal fistula (n = 1, 1.7%). Tuberculosis of the urinary bladder (UB) is registered in 10-45.6% patients with urogenital tuberculosis. It is a severe incapacitating complication of kidney tuberculosis which significantly lowers quality of life. The results of the standard therapy of 76 patients with tuberculous cystitis are analysed. UB tuberculosis is diagnosed more often in women, outcomes of their treatment are worse. In children creation of artificial urinary bladder using intestinal segments was made in the absent or reduced reservoir function of the bladder. From 1990 to 1998 enterocystoplasty was performed in 30 boys and 6 girls. 15 of them have undergone colocystoplasty, 21--ileocystoplasty with detubulized segment. We present a case of a neuroendocrine tumor of the urinary bladder. A 81-year-old-man presented with macrohematuria and difficult voiding. Cystoscopy, computed tomography (CT) and magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) revealed non-papillary broad-based bladder tumor, benign prostatic hyperplasia and three bladder stones. Urinary incontinence is a condition with involuntary escape of urine and causes not only medical but also social and hygienic problems. Described report case of the patient after left nephrectomy, performed 18 years ago, for adenocarcinoma. Recently he has a simultaneous carcinoma of the bladder and the left ureter. Carcinoma of the bladder was treated with transurethral resection and electrocoagulation. Once checked, the hemorrhage was found from the left ureter, later, papilocarcinoma was diagnosed and the urethrectomy with the resection of the part of the wall of the bladder in the region of the estuary. In a review of 2248 cystoscopic examinations conducted over 10 years, malignant tumours of the urinary bladder were found in 172 patients. In 128 of these the condition was associated with bilharziasis. The lateral wall of the bladder was the commonest site (52.3%). Squamous cell carcinoma occurred in 78.1%. Forty-nine patients refused surgery and eight were found to have advanced inoperable tumours. Seventy-one patients had a total cystectomy.
