INTRODUCTION: Ewing's sarcoma/peripheral primitive neuroectodermal tumor (ES-PNET) is a high-grade malignant neoplasm that often develops in the skeletal system. Primary extraskeletal ES-PNET is an uncommon condition that rarely affects the female genital tract. Tumors in the ovary, cervix, and uterine corpus and vulva are occasionally reported. Reports on the Ewing family of tumors involving the vulva are extremely rare in the relevant literature. Only a few cases of vulvar ES-PNET have so far been reported.

Microcystic adnexal carcinoma (MAC) and eccrine cutaneous mixed tumor (ECMT) are both cutaneous adnexal tumors that may occur in the vulvar region, but are very rare at this site. Consequently, they may not enter the differential diagnosis of vulvar lesions for gynecologic pathologists in a subspecialized practice setting. Extra-abdominal desmoid tumor is a locally aggressive neoplasm that occurs most commonly in the pelvic or shoulder region in the third or fourth decade. We have identified one previously reported case of primary desmoid tumor of the vulva. Herein, we describe another case and, to our knowledge, the first reported case of vulvar desmoid tumor associated with pregnancy.

Vulvar tumors arising from submucosal connective tissue, some of which exhibit hormonal responsiveness, have many clinical and histologic overlapping characteristics. We present a case of a fibroepithelial stromal polyp arising from the vulva of a 22-year-old female. We review the differential diagnosis with an emphasis on distinguishing features of these uncommon neoplasms. Accurate diagnosis is essential as the extent of surgical resection and risk of local recurrence varies for these tumors.

Endometrial carcinoma is an uncommon epithelial neoplasm in dogs. This study reports two cases of endometrial carcinomas with brain metastasis in a 7-year-old mixed-breed dog with bloody vulvar discharge, prostration, lethargy, and hyperextension of all four limbs, and an 11-year-old Poodle with purulent vulvar discharge, dyspnea, lateral recumbency, limb stiffness, and epistaxis. BACKGROUND: We describe 2 cases of vulvar pseudotumour due to lymphatic obstruction with chronic lymphoedema of unknown cause that presented as a solitary mass that mimicked aggressive angiomyxoma.

OBJECTIVE: Lymph node metastasis has been shown to represent the most significant prognostic factor in vulvar carcinoma. Primary carcinoma of the Bartholin's gland is a very rare malignancy of the vulva. Of the utmost importance in the management of these tumors is the management by specialized gynecological oncologist at referral centres.
