Dental implants have proven to be a reliable modality for the rehabilitation of missing teeth. However, there are limited reports on managing anodontia related to ectodermal dysplasia in the scientific literature. The severely reduced bone quantity due to the congenital absence of multiple natural teeth is the biggest challenge for the surgeon. There are a variety of bone augmentation procedures to establish adequate bone quantity, and the surgical planning should be used on an individual case basis. This is a report of a 19-year-old male patient affected by hypohidrotic ectodermal dysplasia.
