Epidermal Langerhans' cells (LC) were investigated in fresh cryostat sections of ten biopsies from patients with mycologically proven tinea cruris, using OKT6 monoclonal antibodies and avidin-biotin-immunoperoxidase. Compared to the controls, more epidermal LC and an increased number of LC in the upper half of the epidermis were found in the sections from tinea patients. In a double staining method for both OKT6-positivity and hyphae, a tendency towards a gathering of LC and fungal elements was found. Dengue virus (DENV) is the most disease-causative flavivirus worldwide. Langerhans' cell histiocytosis is an uncommon disease in children with varied clinical presentation. Multisystem form of this disorder usually affects organs like the bones, skin, liver, spleen, lungs, and the central nervous system. We describe here the clinical details of a 2-year-old girl with involvement of unusual sites like the parotid glands and the nails. This child also had multiple cystic lesions in the liver leading to a misdiagnosis of Caroli's disease. Knowledge about the uncommon manifestations of this rare disorder helps in early diagnosis and treatment.

We report a rare case of a 14-year-old boy with Langerhans cell histiocytosis localized to the prepuce. The patient was treated with a topical corticosteroid followed by imiquimod cream resulting in significant clinical improvement of the lesion. Although spontaneous remission is possible, the use of imiquimod may be an effective alternative therapy in cases of cutaneous Langerhans cell histiocytosis refractory to topical corticosteroids.

Teeth which erupt in the 1st month of postnatal life are known as "neonatal tooth." The incidence of these teeth ranges from 1:2000 to 1:3500 live births. Natal teeth are more common in mandibular central incisor region, followed by maxillary incisor region and mandibular canine region. The neonatal or natal teeth in the maxillary molar region are a rare occurrence. This article represents a rare case of the neonatal tooth with Langerhans cell histiocytosis.

INTRODUCTION: Pneumothorax often develops in pulmonary Langerhans cell histiocytosis (PLCH), but some patients take a long time to be correctly diagnosed.
OBJECTIVES: This study assessed the frequency of pneumothorax in PLCH and analysed the role of chest computed tomography (CT) in the prompt diagnosis.
PATIENTS AND MATERIAL: Of the 90 patients with PLCH seen from 2000 to 2015, 29 (32%) had pneumothorax as the initial finding. In this group, 18 (62%) patients were diagnosed within 1 month, whereas the diagnosis was delayed for 4-120 months in 11 (38%) patients.
