BACKGROUND: Elevated right ventricle (RV) pressure and/or volume can place stress on the right bundle branch block (RBBB) and its associated Purkinje network, which can affect its electrical properties, resulting in conduction delay or block. We hypothesized that prolonged R' wave duration in lead V1 would extend the later portion of the QRS complex and can act as an indicator of reduced RV function in patients with RBBB.
METHOD: Kosin University Gospel Hospital echocardiography and electrocardiography (ECG) database was reviewed to identify patients with complete RBBB between 2013 and 2015.

Isolation of the left innominate artery (IA) with right aortic arch is a rare congenital anomaly in which the IA loses its connection to the aorta and is connected to the pulmonary artery via a left ductus arteriosus. Here, we report a case of a 9-month-old girl with incomplete isolation of the IA and double outlet right ventricle. Along with repair of the intracardiac anomaly, the IA was reimplanted to aortic arch to ensure adequate blood flow from the aorta.

Although myocardial bridges are mostly confined to the left anterior descending coronary artery, several cases of right coronary artery myocardial bridging have been reported in the literature. In the current case report, we present a 65-year-old female with a well-functioning mechanical mitral valve prosthesis, severe pulmonary hypertension and right ventricle wall motion abnormality in whom diagnostic angiography revealed myocardial bridging confined to the right ventricular branch of the right coronary artery.

Right ventricular infarction is usually associated with coronary artery disease and concomitant left ventricular infarction. Isolated right ventricular subendocardial necrosis was discovered at autopsy in a 52-year-old woman with pulmonary hypertension, right ventricular hypertrophy, and normal coronary arteries, who died with septicemia 41 days after mitral valve replacement. This represents the first well-documented report of isolated right ventricular subendocardial infarction associated with normal coronary arteries.
