OBJECTIVES: Evaluate the efficiency of the treatment of pain by analgesic according to World Health Organization (WHO).
PATIENTS AND METHODS: We made a descriptive and analytic study in majors sickellers in pain crisis admitted in the service of paediatric of the hospital Gabriel Touré Bamako from January 2005 to January 2006. The koranic schools are in poor socio-economical conditions in Dakar and skin diseases are common in these conditions. The goal of our descriptive study was to determine the prevalence of skin diseases occurring in these situations. One hundred five boys from four koranic schools of Dakar were examined. Eighty percent of the examined boys were with unless one skin disease. Tinea capitis (42.66%), scabiosis (13.33%), pyoderma (15.33%), plantar keratodermia (100%) were the skin diseases. The authors analyzed the post operative results of the penetrating keratoplasty after removal suture in Ophthalmology Service of University and Hospital's Center in Tours. The age of patients varied 20 to 90 years with an average of 56,83 years. 41,71% of patients had a pseudophakic or aphakic bullous keratopathy. Ocular hypertony was the most frequently post operative complication (63,67%). Final removal's suture improved the transparency of grafts and so the visual acuity in spite of greater endothelial cell loss (65,65%) and residual corneal oedema.

We report the observation of right scrotal ingino hernia (tropical hernia) on a young subject of 31-years-old. Tropical hernia have become rare and are faced with a therapeutic taking charge of problem. This tropical hernia has been treated by the settlement of a prosthesis without tension according to Lichtenstein technic. It's about a simple technic of rapid realisation which gives good results and a long term recurrence rate, under 1%.

The goal of our study was to report cutaneous side effects of anti retroviral drugs. For this purpose we performed a transversal prospective trial during 6 month in the dermatological department and in the out patients management department of Dakar.
