We describe the development of an integrated pancreatic tissue bank (PTB) and clinical database for patients with pancreatic cancer and other pancreatic disorders.
METHODS: A clinical database and PTB were created in 1990 and 2000, respectively, to collect clinical information and biospecimens from patients with suspected or confirmed pancreatic cancer, other pancreatic diseases, and tumors of the duodenum, ampulla of Vater, and distal bile duct.

An outbreak of Ebola virus disease (EVD) in Liberia began in March 2014 and ended in January 2016. An outbreak of fever in a village in southern India was reported on 1st September, 2001. The first reported case presented with epistaxis and a platelet count of 27000h(1)/mm3. Clinical, laboratory and entomological evidence supported a diagnosis of dengue fever.
