This research reports a continuous output ionic thermoelectric (i-TE) system based on MXene/PVA (polyvinyl alcohol) hydrogel, by utilizing thermo-diffusion of Cu2+ and Cl- ions and the redox reaction involving Cu/Cu2+ at the electrode interfaces.
