A rare case of jejunal adenocarcinoma is described in which the initial clinical sign was diabetes insipidus and hypopituitarism linked to hypothalamohypophyseal metastasis. The rarity of the intestinal neoplasm and the unusual site of the metastatic lesions are underlined.

We evaluated immunohistochemically the expression profiles of metastasis-associated protein (MTA) 1 and their associations with lymph node metastasis in tonsil cancer. Gallbladder carcinoma (GBC) metastasis to the uterine cervix is very rare, accounting for less than 10 reported cases. GBC is an uncommon neoplasm with a poor prognosis. Many patients remain asymptomatic until it reaches an advanced stage or discovered incidentally. Most metastatic diseases occur in the lung, liver, and bones. Liposarcomas are soft-tissue tumors usually located in the lower extremities and the retroperitoneum. We describe the case of a woman with this neoplasm and a prior familial history of lipoma. Skin, lung and pancreatic metastasis and systemic signs developed quickly. Clinical aspects and the main tools for diagnosing these neoplasms are described.

Claudin-18 (CLDN18), a tight junction protein specific to stomach and lung, is aberrantly expressed in preinvasive and invasive neoplasms of the pancreas. A 61-year-old woman was referred to our hospital for intraductal papillary mucinous neoplasm with no symptoms. Magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) depicted a 15 mm nodular lesion at the descending portion of duodenum. We present 2 cases of papillary thyroid carcinoma (PTC) with conventional morphology that metastasized to unusual sites. The first neoplasm was a PTC whose initial clinical manifestation was a large metastasis in the pancreas which mimicked a primary neoplasm. Malignant pleural mesothelioma (MPM) is a rare and aggressive neoplasm with limited long-term survival. We report a case of a 72-year-old woman diagnosed with epithelioid MPM and NF2 mutation in 2018, who presented with a solitary adrenal metastasis six years after initial diagnosis. After initial surgery and chemotherapy, disease progressed within one year. Immunotherapy with ipilimumab and nivolumab resulted in long-term disease control. This case highlights an exceptionally delayed metachronous adrenal metastasis and prolonged survival under sustained immunotherapy.

Desmoplastic small round cell tumor is an extremely rare and highly aggressive neoplasm. It usually arises as a single mass or multiple masses in the abdominal cavity, characterized by diffuse peritoneal implants, involvement of regional lymph nodes, and liver and lung metastases. However, bone marrow metastasis has rarely been reported in the literature. We present a case of clinically symptomatic bone marrow metastasis in a 25-year-old woman with a diagnosis of desmoplastic small round cell tumor originating from the pelvic cavity.

Large cell calcifying Sertoli tumor is an uncommon testicular neoplasm. We present a case of a 36-year-old man with a late-onset large cell calcifying Sertoli tumor that resulted in a solitary lung metastasis 5 years after radical orchiectomy. Pulmonary wedge resection was performed, and there was no recurrence at the 18-month follow-up after resection of the lung metastasis. Because of its malignant potential, late-onset large cell calcifying Sertoli tumor requires long-term follow-up.
