Occult spinal dysraphism can lead to irreversible neurological complications, early diagnosis and treatment are necessary. It can be suspected from the presence of any cutaneous abnormality. We report a case with bony spur formation on the top of the 5th lumbar vertebra spinose process covered with skin mimicking a meningocel sac. This article presents a case of occult spontaneous uterine rupture complicated by pelvic infection and peritonitis in the postpartum period. Ultrasonography played a primary role in the diagnosis of this complication and clearly demonstrated the uterine wall defect. This finding was confirmed later by computed tomography and by surgery.

We report a patient with multiple negative evaluations during emergency department visits and inpatient admissions for unexplained, intermittent nausea, vomiting, and abdominal pain. The etiology of her symptoms was not revealed until her 13th hospital visit, when head magnetic resonance imaging suggested active neurocysticercosis. Central etiologies should be considered for intractable nausea and vomiting in neurologically intact patients even if head computed-assisted tomography scan is negative.

Obstetric trauma is by far the commonest cause of anal incontinence in women. Denervation and reinnervation of the pelvic floor and anal sphincter following vaginal delivery has been previously demonstrated. The advent of anal endosonography, however, has enabled the identification of occult anal sphincter defects following vaginal delivery. It is now possible to identify risk factors and change obstetric practice accordingly so as to minimize anorectal morbidity.

We describe a 4-year-old Hispanic boy with a dermal pit and an overlying macular vascular malformation in the lumbosacral area. Magnetic resonance imaging of the region revealed an intraspinal lesion at L1-L2. A fibrous tract was excised. A benign lipoma intrinsic to the roots of the cauda equina was noted at surgery. The cutaneous stigmata of occult spinal dysraphisms are reviewed.

Terminal syringohydromyelia is a cystic dilatation of the lower third of the spinal cord. Insufficiency bone fracture of the medial tibial plateau occurs in elderly patient. Pain and disability are important. Physical examination and initial X-Ray are note contributive. Insufficiency fracture appeared on bone scan as localised hyperfixation and as a slow intensity image of the medial tibial plateau on MR Imaging. Outcome is favorable with discharge.

Computed tomographic examinations were performed on 24 patients with entirely submucosal laryngeal mass lesions.
