BACKGROUND: Wegener's granulomatosis (WG) is characterized by systemic, necrotizing, granulomatous inflammation accompanied by vasculitis. It classically involves the triad of the upper respiratory tract, lungs and kidneys. Isolated pulmonary lesions of WG may present in some patients as pulmonary masses, simulating neoplasms. The features of WG can be suggested by cytologic study. Atypical epithelial cells associated with WG have previously been reported as a cause of a false positive diagnosis of bronchoalveolar carcinoma.

OBJECTIVE: To investigate the epidemiology of rare genitourinary metastases from rare genitourinary organ-type cancer and to genitourinary organs using data from a large national autopsy registry in Japan.
DESIGN SETTING AND PARTICIPANTS: A secondary analysis of the data reported in the Annual of the Pathological Autopsy Cases in Japan and the Japanese Mortality Database from 1993 to 2020 was performed.

Juvenile nasopharyngeal angiofibroma is a benign vascular tumor seen predominantly in adolescent males in the second decade of life. Extranasopharyngeal angiofibroma includes vascular fibrous masses that occur outside the nasopharynx. The diagnosis of an angiofibroma is based on the clinical presentation and imaging, with biopsies being avoided to avoid excessive bleeding. Computed tomography scan is considered sufficient for the diagnosis of extranasopharyngeal angiofibroma as it clearly delineates and identifies the tumor.

UNLABELLED: Improvements in cancer survival and life expectancy have placed a focus on long-term risks following a primary cancer, including that of developing other primary malignancies. INTRODUCTION: Solitary extramedullary plasmacytoma (SEP) is a rare neoplasm that is derived from monoclonal proliferation of plasma cells in the soft tissues or organs arising outside the bone marrow. It is present in about 3% of all plasma cell tumors and originates mainly from the upper respiratory tract and nasopharynx. Involvement of the esophagus is exceptionally seen in cases of SEP. Case Presentation. We report a novel case of a 74-year-old male patient attended with a 6-month history of hiccupping further associated with dysphasia and weight loss all caused by esophageal plasmacytoma.

We present a case of multifocal endobronchial carcinoid tumor and review the literature on multifocal endobronchial carcinoid tumors. Our patient was admitted with complaints of paroxysmal cough and recurrent lower respiratory tract infections.
