MATERIALS AND METHODS: Our study was approved by the institutional committee of Sahloul University Hospital in accordance with the ethical standards of the Declaration of Helsinki. BACKGROUND: Neutrophilic eccrine hidradenitis (NEH) is a benign neutrophilic dermatosis not well recognized beyond an association with malignancy. Although the disease is commonly reported in adults with malignancy, this association is uncommon in children. Diaphragmatic rupture is introduced as one of the most common injuries occurring in small animals. In our retrospective report, 14 cats with a mean age of 12 months (male = 8, female = 6) that underwent diaphragmatic herniorrhaphy were studied. The data included the following: age, sex, breed, and clinical signs. BACKGROUND: Essential thrombocythemia (ET) is one of the "classic" Philadelphia chromosome negative (Ph-) myeloproliferative neoplasms characterized by sustained thrombocytosis, increased megakaryopoiesis and high risk of vascular complications. ET is very rare in childhood. The annual incidence is approximately 1 per 10,000,000 in children less than 14 years, and about 60 times lower than adults. We retrospectively investigated the use of oral hydromorphone for cancer pain. Nineteen patients treated for cancer pain with oral hydromorphone were reviewed in this study. Cancers had occurred in the gastrointestinal (n=4), lung(n=3), breast(n=2), bone and soft tissue(n=2), hematological(n=2), and others(n=6). AIM: To determine the number of patients that received plain facial view radiographs as well as computed tomography (CT) scans in diagnosing their midface fractures.

INTRODUCTION: Worldwide, male responsible infertility is on the rise. In this retrospective study, we evaluated the infertility rate of this area.
MATERIALS AND METHODS: Cases reported from 1989 to 1993 to the Institute for Post Graduate Teaching and Research in Ayurved University were studied. Semen reports were also scrutinized.
RESULTS: A total number of 1,17,979 cases were examined. Male infertility rate was 45%. Patients' semen report showed that they were with oligozoospermia (22%), asthenozoospermia (11%) and azoospermia (12%).

Zambia has recently reported high incidences of sexual abuse against women and children. Zambian law categorises sexual offences into rape, defilement, incest and others, with defilement constituting the majority of the reported cases (>89%).
