A 38-year-old woman with a five-year history of ulcerative colitis (UC) treated with 5-aminosalicylic acid presented with an acute flare of UC. The patient was treated with azathioprine (AZA) as maintenance therapy following budesonide rectal foam and developed AZA-induced sialadenitis and pancreatitis. OBJECTIVES: This study aimed to identify imaging features of IgG4-related sialadenitis (IgG4-RS) and differentiate it from Sjögren's syndrome (SS) and chronic obstructive parotid/submandibular sialadenitis (COP/COS).

OBJECTIVE: The purpose of this study was to assess how well ChatGPT, an AI-powered chatbot, performed in helping to manage pediatric sialadenitis and identify when sialendoscopy was necessary.
METHODS: 49 clinical cases of pediatric sialadenitis were retrospectively reviewed. ChatGPT was given patient data, and it offered differential diagnoses, proposed further tests, and suggested treatments. The decisions made by the treating otolaryngologists were contrasted with the answers provided by ChatGPT. Analysis was done on ChatGPT response consistency and interrater reliability.

Burning Mouth syndrome (BMS) is a relatively common oral neurosensory disorder known for oral burning pain. In that there is a relative absence of oral clinical findings and systemic causation, the diagnosis of BMS is challenging. Sialadenitis of the anterior mandibular vestibule appears to be a subset of BMS. The lip component of chronic orofacial pain is potentially an important concern with regard to the diagnosis and treatment of chronic orofacial pain. Discussion regarding the etiology, diagnosis, and therapy of this condition is provided.
