Median raphe cyst (MRC) is an uncommon, asymptomatic benign lesion, that may present anywhere on the midline ridge between the external urethral meatus and the anus. Although they are developmental in origin, they often present in the postpubertal age, aggravated by trauma, and are frequently infected secondarily. MRCs are often misdiagnosed as epidermal cysts, steatocystoma multiplex, and eccrine cystadenomas. They are underrecognized and less than ten case reports exist from the Indian subcontinent. We, herein report a male with an immunohistochemically proven parameatal MRC.

Diseases caused by mutations in gene encoding keratin intermediate filaments (IF) are characterized by a loss of structural integrity in the cells expressing those keratins in vivo. OBJECTIVE: The purpose of this presentation is to show the sonographic findings of breast masses, which can occur in subcutaneous fat or in the cutaneous layer of the breast.
METHODS: We reviewed the sonographic findings of superficial breast masses, including the epidermal inclusion cyst, steatocystoma multiplex, fat necrosis, accessory breast, Mondor disease, sparganosis, neurofibroma, tuberculosis, mastitis, and breast malignancy.
RESULTS: Specific sonographic features of superficial breast masses have been illustrated.
CONCLUSIONS: Radiologists must be familiar with the sonographic find

Eruptive vellus hair cysts are rare epidermal cysts with vellus hairs, which appear in children or young adults. A 21-year-old patient is reported who developed asymptomatic comedo-like papules on his face, neck and chest. Eruptive vellus hair cyst (EVHC), described initially in 1977, is a benign dermatologic condition that is characterized by the sudden appearance of monomorphic, follicular, asymptomatic, small papules in children and young adults. Eruptive vellus hair cysts (EVHCs) often occur on the trunk and limbs. Facial involvement is uncommon. Autosomal dominant inheritance has been described, but associated extracutaneous anomalies have not. We describe a 4-patient kindred presenting with multiple facial EVHCs and an association of preauricular pits, lipomas, joint hypermobility, and cardiac defects. Histoid leprosy is an unusual variant of lepromatous leprosy posing difficulties for diagnosis as well as treatment even to the experts. We report a case of a 73 year old male from the hilly region of Nepal, who presented with multiple asymptomatic scrotal nodules for 3 months. Though clinical diagnoses were pilomatricoma and steatocystoma multiplex; histopathological examination was consistent with that of histoid leprosy. Two cases of eruptive vellus hair cysts associated with chronic renal failure are reported.
