A 63-year-old man with a history of Pustulosis Palmaris et Plantaris since 1960 was suffered from lumbago and anterior chest pain in 1973. Chest X-ray film showed inter-sterno-costo-clavicular ossification. Spondylodiscitis, Syndesmophyte of lumbal spine, Sacro-iliitis were seen by abdominal X-ray film. He was admitted to near hospital with generalized edema and urinary protein (10-20 g/day) in April 1986. Mn-doped ZnO thin films with varying Mn concentrations were synthesized on glass substrates using the pneumatic spray technique. Legionnaires' disease in a 37-year-old male who had had silicosis was reported. He was admitted because of dyspnea. The chest X-ray film and CT scan showed infiltrative shadow and swelling of mediastinal lymph nodes. Open lung biopsy was done and Legionella pneumohila was detected. REP and EM were started and infiltrative shadow of X-ray was disappeared. Pleuro-pneumonectomy and thoracoplasty were performed because of hemoptysis and postoperative empyema. The X-ray picture is of outstanding importance for diagnosis and treatment of acute posttraumatic osteomyelitis. Its diagnostic value surpasses that of other costly methods such as scintigraphy. After just 14 days, a typical pathological change of bone structure can be seen. For best possible treatment it is of utmost importance to diagnose the change as early as possible. If the disease develops without clinical signs, diagnosis by x-ray film is sometimes the only possibility.
