The objective of this study was to investigate the immunophenotypic characteristics of T-cell acute lymphoblastic leukemia (T-ALL). Immunophenotyping was performed in 140 T-ALL patients by flow cytometry using a panel of monoclonal antibodies and CD45/SSC gating. The results showed that the T-lineage-associated antigen expressions were CD7 > CD2 > CD3 > CD5 successively. The positive rate of CD10 was 19.42% in patients. This study was aimed to investigate the immunophenotypic characteristics of 109 cases of B-cell chronic lymphoid leukemia (B-CLL) so as to provide evidences for the diagnosis and therapy of B-CLL, and for the detection of the minimal residual disease and its prognosis. OBJECTIVES: To delineate the pathology of immunoglobulin M-producing multiple myeloma (IgM MM).
METHODS: Clinicopathologic data were reviewed for 15 cases meeting World Health Organization criteria for MM and having a serum IgM paraprotein. Immunohistochemistry was performed on diagnostic bone marrow specimens for common B-cell and plasma cell markers.

Most cases of acute leukemia with deletions of chromosome 5q (5q-) are acute myelogenous leukemia. 5q- in acute lymphoid leukemia is rare.
