BACKGROUND: Advanced stages of classical Hodgkin lymphoma can be cured by the first-line treatment in 80% of patients. Conventional treatment options include ABVD chemotherapy (doxorubicin bleomycin, vinblastine, dacarbazine) or escalated BEACOPP (bleomycin, etoposide, doxorubicin, cyclophosphamide, vincristine, procarbazine, prednisone) are commonly used in advanced stages. The result of interim positron emission tomography allows adjustment of the treatment intensity during chemotherapy and this approach can affect the treatment results and toxicity.

A case of vulvar epithelioid sarcoma (VES) in a 49-year-old female is described. The disease originated from Bartholin's gland and was originally diagnosed as vulvar squamous cell carcinoma. The patient was treated by radical vulvectomy and bilateral inguinal lymphadenectomy. BACKGROUND: Uterine leiomyosarcoma (uLMS) is an aggressive malignancy with high rates of peritoneal recurrence and poor survival. Although surgery for recurrent uLMS has shown encouraging results, addition of hyperthermic intraperitoneal chemotherapy (HIPEC) is not well described. We evaluate safety and efficacy of cytoreductive surgery (CRS)-HIPEC with gemcitabine followed by systemic dacarbazine for recurrent uLMS.
