Ameloblastic carcinoma (AC) is a rare, primary epithelial odontogenic malignant neoplasm. It is the malignant counterpart of ameloblastoma. It comprises 1% of all cysts and tumours occurring in the jaws, arising from tissues associated with odontogenic epithelium. UNLABELLED: The odontogenic myxoma is a tumor of the jaws which arises from the mesenchymal portion of the tooth germ, either the dental papilla, the follicle, or the periodontal ligament. It is a slow-growing, painless, nonmetastasizing, central tumor of the jaws, chiefly the mandible. Radiographically, the classic presentation may vary from a unilocular radiolucency to a multilocular lesion with well-defined or diffuse margins. On histological study, it is composed of triangular or stellate connective cells, anastomosed by fine extensions, and embedded in abundant mucoid material.

Solitary plasmacytoma is a rare malignant tumor, presenting less than 5% of all plasma cell proliferation. Bone forms are the most frequent, affecting particularly the axial bone skeleton, mandibular localization is extremely rare. Diagnosis is based on the presence of a localized plasma cell tumor without signs of a disseminated form. We report a case of 65 years old female patient with solitary bone plasmacytoma of mandible, who has undergone surgical treatment without adjuvant therapy, with a good clinical and radiological outcomes at 12 months follow-up.

An orthodontic examination of an eight-year-old female patient revealed osteosclerosis with displaced tooth germs in the left mandible as an incidental finding. The patient has no known underlying diseases. Extraorally, there is normal skin colour without asymmetry with intact sensitivity and motor function. BACKGROUND: the solitary plasmacytomas entities characterized by the neoplastic proliferation of a single clone of plasma cells, typically producing a monoclonal immunoglobulin. It represents less than 5% of plasma cell dyscrasias. The most common sites of solitary plasmacytomas are long bones. The jaws location remains extremely rare, only 4.4% of solitary plasmacytomas of bone occur in the mandible, the diagnosis is based on the biopsy evidence of plasma cell proliferation and absence of evidence of involvement of other bones.
