We present the case of a female aged 16 years, suffering from cyclical menouria for the last 3 years. Clinical examination revealed the absence of a vagina. The author reports a case of vaginal calculi secondary to urethrovaginal fistula with vaginal stenosis in a 14-year-old girl. The initial urethrovaginal fistula and vaginal stenosis resulted from pelvic trauma after a traffic accident, with subsequent surgical urethral realignment and anterior colporrhaphy without success. OBJECTIVE: To test the hypothesis that not trimming the edges of the vesico-vaginal fistula (VVF) during its surgical repair has an advantage in the outcome as compared to the classical teaching of trimming the fistula.
METHODOLOGY: Sixty-four females with obstetric VVF were randomized into two groups. Both groups were treated with vaginal anatomical closure in three layers with Martius flap inter-positioning. Fistulae of the first group were closed without trimming the edges of the bladder while the second group was subject to trimming of the bladder edges.

We present a case of a thick transverse vaginal septum with a vesicovaginal fistula treated with vaginal expansion using dilators, followed by surgery. Bladder injury with subsequent development of a Vesico-Vaginal Fistula following a Laparoscopic Assisted Vaginal Hysterectomy is reported. Congenital vesicovaginal fistula (VVF) with distal vaginal agenesis (DVA) is an extremely rare anomaly and isn't easy to diagnose. To detect VVF in DVA, waiting until adolescence for the operation and performing cystoscopy during the menstrual period will ensure a correct diagnosis. Here, a girl with this anomaly is presented.

INTRODUCTION: Vesicovaginal fistula (VVF) is the most common urogenital fistula due to iatrogenic cause, primarily associated with gynecologic surgery (1). Although both conservative and surgical management may be considered, the optimal treatment is still uncertain and several studies were published using different techniques (open, laparoscopic or robotic) and approaches (extravesical, transvesical or transvaginal) (2-5). Vesicovaginal fistula with stone is an infrequent condition; therefore, it can be often misdiagnosed. The formation of vaginal stones is mainly due to urinary stasis and infection. We describe the case of a 69-year-old patient who was diagnosed with a vesicovaginal fistula in 2012. The etiology of the disease was related to supravesical amputation of the uterus and radiation therapy. 9 years later a medium-sized stone was found in the fistula. This type of case is rare in practice. The final diagnosis can be made together with gynecologists based on the results of pelvic computed tomography.
