Scalable, wafer-compatible routes to compositionally graded transition-metal dichalcogenide multilayers remain limited, particularly in the sub-10 nm regime relevant to device stacks. Here, we demonstrate the synthesis of vertically graded Mo1-xWxS2 films by sequential magnetron sputtering of W and MoSx precursor layers, followed by confined-space sulphurisation. The process of V2O5 oxide by the combination of sol-gel technique and hydrothermal treatment using heteroligand [VO(C5H7O2)2-x(C4H9O)x] precursor was studied. Using thermal analysis, X-ray powder diffraction (XRD) and infra-red spectroscopy (IR), it was found that the resulting product was VO2(B), which after calcining at 300 °C (1 h), oxidized to orthorhombic V2O5. Diagnosis of anisakiasis was made immunologically by positive antibody to Anisakis larvae and a recent history of raw fish intake. The authors present the results of a performance comparison between CT and conventional x-ray film diagnosis (plain film and tomography) in 93 patients with benign, semimalignant and malignant bone tumours, basing on 124 CT examinations with 176 tumorous bone lesions of the vertebral column. The type, size and incidence rate of the superiority of CT in imaging tumorous bone lesions and its morphologic characterisation, are described.

This study explores the influence of ionic incorporation via immersion in LiCl and NaCl on the structural, morphological, and electrochemical properties of AlOOH thin films synthesized by chemical bath deposition. Bronchopulmonary dysplasia, first described by Northway in 1967 as a separate entity, was graded into four stages. Basing on thoracic x-ray films of 14 newborn and prematurely born infants an attempt has been made to analyse the x-ray patterns of signs characterising bronchopulmonary dysplasia and to establish a relation between the x-ray signs and the four stages. The preparation of weblike titanium dioxide thin films by atomic layer deposition on cellulose biotemplates is reported. The method produces a TiO2 web, which is flexible and transferable from the deposition substrate to that of the end application. Removal of the cellulose template by calcination converts the amorphous titania to crystalline anatase and gives the structure a hollow morphology. The TiO2 webs are thoroughly characterized using electron microscopy, X-ray diffraction, and X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy to give new insight into manufacturing of porous titanium dioxide structures

The X-ray findings in temporal bone anomalies are reviewed. Radiological procedure and examination technique are presented, as are symptoms of important anomalies. The methods available are plain film X-ray of temporal bone, multi-directional tomography, and high-resolution CT. Although some of the abnormalities are visible even in plain films, consistent use of conventional tomography or CT is necessary for correct diagnosis.
