The standard regimen for the treatment of newly diagnosed primary CNS lymphoma (PCNSL) remains regimens that contain high-dose methotrexate (MTX). While these regimens can provide control for some patients, there is a dearth of options for the treatment of patients with PCNSL who cannot tolerate MTX-containing regimens, or whose cancers are refractory to MTX. In this article, we review a promising new option; ibrutinib, a Bruton tyrosine kinase inhibitor, for patients with relapsed and refractory PCNSL.

We report the case of a 13-year-old boy who presented with a 2-month history of left eyelid swelling, ecchymosis, and epiphora. Magnetic resonance imaging revealed a lobulated lesion in the region of the left lacrimal sac extending to the left nasolacrimal duct. Biopsy revealed diffuse large B-cell lymphoma of the lacrimal sac. Chemotherapy was initiated, consisting of rituximab, methotrexate, cytarabine, doxorubicin, cyclophosphamide, and vincristine. Sciatica is a common clinical presentation with a number of etiological factors. Many of them are innocuous like prolapsed intervertebral disc or peripheral compression in the sciatic nerve. Occasionally the cause could be of a more serious nature like a nerve sheath tumor or more infrequently, lymphomatosis. We describe recurrent lymphoma in a patient who had been in remission presented with sciatica as result of the involvement of the nerve with metastatic tumor.

The aim of this study was to analyze the P53 aberrations in diffuse large B-cell lymphoma (DLBCL) and its prognostic value. Using fluorescence in situ hybridization (FISH), the P53 gene was detected in paraffin-embedded tonsil tissues from 50 cases of DLBCL, while all the peripheral blood of patients was collected for detecting P53 protein in serum by using enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). Primary non-Hodgkin's lymphoma of tongue is very rare. We report a case of an elderly female who presented with a mass lesion and pain primarily involving the tongue and was diagnosed with diffuse large B cell lymphoma. Computed tomography revealed a 3-cm enhanced mass localized to the right tongue base. The patient was treated with three cycles of combination rituximab and CHOP chemotherapy, followed by external beam radiotherapy. The patient had a complete response after treatment, and three years following treatment, the patient has no signs of recurrence.

Testicular lymphoma represents the commonest testicular malignancy in men older than 50 years. MR imaging of the scrotum is an efficient supplemental diagnostic tool in the evaluation of scrotal diseases. We report two cases of primary diffuse large B-cell testicular lymphoma, presented in men over the age of 50 years. MR imaging revealed the presence of a hypointense intratesticular mass lesion on T2-weighted images, strongly and heterogeneously enhancing after gadolinium administration.
