BACKGROUND: Most of the sources of bleeding in patients with obscure gastrointestinal bleeding are located in the small bowel. Capsule endoscopy (CE) and double-balloon enteroscopy (DBE) are innovative modalities to examine the small intestine. BACKGROUND: The physical laws are considered that need to be taken into account for optimal photothermal treatment of solid and vascular tumors, as well as other vascular anomalies of various etiology of the retina and choroid.
