A six-year-old spayed female Siberian Husky dog was evaluated for acute cervical pain and ataxia, respiratory changes, and a two-month history of weight loss. METHODS: This retrospective analysis included 51 pediatric patients presenting at Children Cancer Hospital Egypt-57357 from July 2007 to December 2016 with the diagnosis of WT with malignant IVC thrombus.

Thirty-six cases of pilocytic astrocytomas treated at the Childrens Hospital of Los Angeles from 1984 through 1995 were reviewed. The mean age at initial presentation was 8 years (range 15 months to 14 years). These patients were followed for an average of 5.5 years. No patient was given chemotherapy or radiation therapy after the initial surgery for pilocytic astrocytoma. We sought temporal trends in the demographic, clinical, histologic feature, diagnostic class, and quality of life data over the interval 1930-1979 in the Childhood Brain Tumor Consortium database. PURPOSE: Carcinoma in situ represents high grade anaplasia of the bladder mucosa. Intravesical immunotherapy with bacillus Calmette-Guérin is the gold standard treatment for patients with carcinoma in situ. Patients with carcinoma in situ refractory to bacillus Calmette-Guérin are candidates for major surgery such as radical cystectomy. We identified the maximum tolerated dose and the recommended dose, and evaluated the safety profile of paclitaxel-hyaluronic acid bioconjugate given by intravesical instillation to patients with carcinoma in situ refractory to bacillus Calmette-Guérin.
