In the present study, we examined the development of mental fatigue during the kinesthetic motor imagery (MI) of isometric force contractions performed with the dominant upper limb. We investigated the perceived impact of COVID-19 on changes in tobacco and nicotine (NT) use among sexual and gender minority (SGM) young adults. We used a mixed methods approach that included closed- and open-ended survey questions and in-depth interviews. In this observational study based on an original questionnaire, we investigated a group of health care workers--smokers employees of a teaching hospital in terms of basic features of tobacco smoking. A total of 137 smokers were asked to answer the questions on voluntary basis and anonymously. Response rate was 70%: a total of 96 participants with valid questionnaires consisted of 93% women, predominantly nurses (71%); mean age 40.5 (range 19-58 years). OBJECTIVE: To evaluate the relationship between screen time (ST) and lung function in hospitalized children and adolescents with cystic fibrosis (CF).
METHODS: This was a cross-sectional study of 45 children with CF in the 0- to 17-year age bracket admitted to a public hospital in southern Brazil. ST during hospitalization was measured by means of a recall diary. Questionnaires were used in order to collect data on screen use and personal data. Data on lung function, nutrition, bacteriology, and the Shwachman-Kulczycki clinical score were obtained from patient medical records.

OBJECTIVE: Little is known about substance use among resettled refugee populations. This study aimed to describe motivations for drinking, experiences of alcohol-related problems and strategies for managing drinking among marginalised African refugee young people in Melbourne, Australia.
DESIGN: Face-to-face interviews were conducted with 16 self-identified African refugees recruited from street-based settings in 2012-2013. Interview transcripts were analysed inductively to identify key themes.

BACKGROUND: Gambling content on streaming platforms has gained popularity. Given their intense, cue-laden nature, watching gambling streams may trigger cravings among viewers. At the same time, people who gamble may be motivated to watch gambling streams in an attempt to regulate their cravings.
