Pituitary tumor transforming gene 1 (Pttg1) is upregulated in cirrhosis and hepatocarcinoma (HCC). We assessed the therapeutic effect of liver-targeted Pttg1 siRNA Retinol (Ret) pBAE nanoparticles (NPs) to treat these disturbances. Enterolobium cyclocarpum (EC) is an edible plant and a gum source for food industries. Its sulfated polysaccharide extract (SEC) was examined for cancer chemopreventive properties to estimate its anti-tumor activity. Nondegradable glass microspheres (35 mu) were injected into the portal vein for toxicity test in 15 rabbits.
