An adult female llama with a comminuted fracture of the left femoral head was necropsied. A firm multinodular mass infiltrated skeletal muscle adjacent to the fracture. Multiple, firm, white nodules were in the pulmonary parenchyma and pleura. A single nodule was in the liver. Microscopically, transition from nonneoplastic bronchiolar epithelium to neoplastic epithelium that formed acinar structures was evident at bronchioloalveolar junctions. Intravascular lipomas are rare benign tumors composed of adipose tissue that originate from the walls of blood vessels. They most commonly arise from veins, are typically asymptomatic, and rarely occur in the lower extremities. When large, these tumors can cause symptoms related to venous obstruction, such as swelling and pain. Pseudoaneurysms are considered a rare condition. The authors describe the occurrence of a pseudoaneurysm of the popliteal artery in association with a femoral osteochondroma in a 30-years-old man.

A 70-year-old woman who was followed for 60 years for Maffucci's syndrome required a total hip arthroplasty (THA) of the right hip for degenerative arthritis. This did not relieve pain. Three years later, chondrosarcoma of the femur developed around the femoral component and was fatal. The roentgenographic changes after the THA were incorrectly interpreted as being caused by infection.

Childhood hypophosphatemic rickets (HR) is most often caused by a defect in renal tubular resorption of filtered phosphorus. Monoarthritis, infrequently recognized as a manifestation of primary malignant disease of the bone, is rarely associated with Ewing's sarcoma. Our patient presented with knee monoarthritis, and histology established the diagnosis of Ewing's sarcoma. His disease apparently remitted with chemotherapy but recurred in multiple sites one year later, and repeat chemotherapy failed to produce a remission.

To date, 23 cases with osteoid osteoma (OO) including multiple nidi in single bone have been reported in the world literature. A case report of an 18-year-old boy with an OO on his left femoral neck, which contained double nidi is presented. Plain radiography, computed tomography (CT) and magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) of the proximal femur showed OO with a multicentric nidus. Bone scintigraphy demonstrated increased activity in the left femoral neck region. The tumor was removed with curettage and shaving using lateral approach. The patient was asymptomatic for 5 years after surgery.
