We report chromosomal studies of a 27-year-old male patient with ataxia telangiectasia who developed a chronic T-cell lymphocytic leukemia. The leukemic cells grew spontaneously although a better yield of metaphases could be obtained after PHA stimulation. From 1 August 1993 until 30 September 1994, 69 couples suffering from azoospermia underwent testicular sperm extraction and intracytoplasmic sperm injection. In 50 couples with obstructive azoospermia a total of 631 metaphase-II oocytes were injected after testicular sperm extraction yielding a 2-PN fertilization rate of 57%. Peripheral blood lymphocytes from five chronic lymphocytic leukemia (CLL) patients were cultured with PHA for 3-6 days. Dicentric yield and fractionation of damaged metaphases and lymphocyte count were followed for an interval of up to 3 months in rabbits after partial- and whole-body irradiations. We report the case of an 84 years old prostate cancer patient with severe side effects after radiotherapy in 2006. He was cytogenetically analysed in 2009 and in 2012 in a comparative study for individual radiosensitivity of prostate cancer patients.
