BACKGROUND: For Greece, no data regarding the incidence of cutaneous melanoma (CM) have been reported. In this report, we present epidemiologic data for CM on Crete, an island in southern Greece, during the years 1999-2002. OBJECTIVE: Tissue expansion is the preferred technique for the treatment of giant congenital melanocytic nevus (GCMN) located on the face, abdomen, and legs. We believe that the use of multiple tissue expanders in the same surgery is a safe and effective technique for the treatment of GCMN.
MATERIALS AND METHODS: A total of 14 patients were treated between 2013 and 2016 for GCMN removal with placement in the same surgery of 3 or more tissue expanders. We analyzed esthetic results and complications.

PURPOSE: To report a case of choroidal neovascularization (CNV) associated with optic disk melanocytoma successfully treated with bevacizumab.
METHODS: A 63-year-old man complained of visual impairment in his left eye. His visual acuity was 0.9 OS. Fundus examination showed optic disk melanocytoma associated with serous retinal detachment and mild hemorrhage. Fluorescein and indocyanine green angiography revealed CNV adjacent to the optic disc. This study identified predictors of sunscreen use in males and females and examined the extent to which gender differences in sunscreen use were associated with skin cancer screening outcomes. Subjects were 351 adult Southern California residents who participated in one of five free skin cancer screenings.
