A rare case of a male patient who suffered from noma with sequelae of ankylosis in bilateral temporomandibular joints for 52 years and a neoplasm in the right commissure of the lips for 1 year, was operated on to resolve the ankylosis, remove the neoplasm and reconstruct the soft tissue defect with a forearm flap through a one-stage operation. The neoplasm pathology was verrucous carcinoma.

Tuberculosis (TB) of the genital tract commonly occurs secondary to a primary lesion. The mode of spread is via the lymphatics, the haematogenous route or less commonly by a peritoneal spread. Treatment for testicular cancer has dramatically improved during the last 15 years. Much of this success has come about because of improved staging and operative techniques but, most importantly, through the introduction of successful systemic chemotherapy. Rapid-stain cytologic evaluation of needle aspirates are a recent adjunct to diagnosis and staging of lung neoplasms. RATIONALE: Primary renal pelvis squamous cell carcinoma (SCC) is an extremely rare neoplasm. In many patients, the SCC was associated with renal calculi.
PATIENT CONCERNS: A 61-year-old male presented with intermittent pain at the left lumbar region for 3 days. The PET/CT images demonstrated increased F-FDG uptake in the upper pole of the left kidney and left renal hilar lymph nodes.
